ZA-LA28
Empowering South African Para Throwers for the 2028 Paralympics
Every throw tells a story — of resilience, determination, and the pursuit of excellence. Our mission is clear: prepare and support South Africa’s top Para Throwers to compete — and win — at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games.
A dedicated drive to reverse the decline in South African Paralympians by preparing medal contenders for the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
South Africa has a proud Paralympic legacy. Yet in recent years, the number of athletes competing internationally has declined — not because of talent, but because of limited resources, opportunities, and access to proper classification.
The ZA-LA28 project exists to change that. By investing in our athletes now, we are ensuring that South Africa continues to shine on the world stage, inspiring future generations of para-athletes and proving that ability has no limits.
Vision & goals
To change the current decline in Paralympians and Paralympic medals
